Aero-Land Supply, now the Integrated Logistics Support Division of
Fastening Systems International,Inc. was formed in 1952 in Oakland,
California.
Aero-Land Supply Co. became a key supplier to the West Coast
Aerospace Industry serving such customers as United Air Lines, World
Airways, AirCal, PSA, Hughes Air West, Lockheed Aircraft, UTC, Aerojet
General, Alameda Naval Air Station, Travis, Mather, Beale, Hamilton, and
McClellan Air Force Bases. As a primary distributor for the Aeroquip
Corporation and the Cherry Rivet Division of Townsend Company (later
acquired by Textron) Aero-Land provided a host of specialty fasteners, AN
and MS Hardware, fluid conveying systems, and a wide variety of related
aerospace products. With the dramatic change in the West Coast Aerospace
and Military markets in the 1980's Aero-Land expanded into several
commercial markets and continued its founding ownership until the passing of
its President, Edward Niske in 1998, at which time its name and assets were
acquired by Fastening Systems International, Inc.
Now centrally located in
Oklahoma City, Aero-Land Supply has once again become a significant
supplier to the military and aerospace markets with emphasis on selling
solutions not just products. Driven strictly by what is best for its
customers needs, Aero-Land has expanded its Logistical Support Services to
contribute to several key military and commercial aerospace Lean Programs,
and is enjoying excellent growth by continuing to offer the latest in proven
Lean Program technologies coupled with innovative solutions to a wide range
of customer needs including such items as Aircraft Lighting Systems,
Specialty Tools, FOD Detecting Systems, and Consolidated Tool Kit Layouts.
